I’ve intuitively discovered that the first expression of the material exists by himself, guiding it to the terrain of subtleness and self-sensuality. Due to that, my first choice to develop my artistic language, based on the representation of mental and phisic spaces is the stone, the texture of that and the combination of process colors, except black.

Q What motivated you to be an artist?
A I have studied Architecture at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) between 2004 and 2010. The last year at the Architecture School, I had realized that I didn’t understand some esthetic and sensitive topics about the things that surrounds me, that’s the reason why I decided to start studying Arts at the University of Barcelona.
After two years at the Arts School, I understood that was the moment to leave my hometown, Barcelona, to know and explore new places. I have been living and studying in São Paulo and Munich, I won an Erasmus and International Scholarship.
Q Are there anything you can’t do without in your artistic activities?
A Relaxed and silent atmosphere, my books, the lithography workshop and other materials for drawing and painting, the forest, the field.
Q What do you think of artists in the same generation?
A It’s a big mess. We are able to do everything, so what to choose and be concious are the most important moments on our lifes.
Q How do you imagine of yourself after ten years?
A Keeping working as an artist and as an architect in Barcelona with my family, and traveling a bit, but not too much.
